Nubuko O.

After being hospitalized, Nubuko O. was referred to skilled occupational therapy, skilled physical therapy, and speech therapy services.

Upon evaluation by the therapy team, Nabuko required maximum assistance to complete her daily routine, and ambulation was difficult for her. Nabuko is 98 years old. With her participation, and great attitude in every Therapy session, she has made a complete turn around. "She is a joy to have in Therapy", said Dani, her Physical therapist.

Speech therapy addressed safety concerns. Occupational and physical therapy continue to work towards Nubuko's complete independence with all areas of daily living skills. Currently, she is only requiring supervision and ambulates with a rolling walker over 150 feet. Future goals include: straight cane training, shower assessment, cooking assessment, and community integration.
